L’huile d’argan
Argan oil is

grows naturally.
For centuries,

particularly in its roasted form. Its production is artisanal: the kernels are
extracted by hand, dried, then ground with a millstone to obtain the oil—an
ancestral skill passed down from generation to generation.

1990s that argan oil began to gain international recognition, particularly in
the cosmetics industry, thanks to its moisturizing, anti-aging, and restorative
properties. It is becoming a popular ingredient in high-end natural skincare
products.
Today, argan oil
production is also a driving force for local development. Numerous women's
cooperatives have emerged, supporting the financial independence of rural
communities. In 1998, UNESCO recognized the argan region as a Biosphere
